What is the Hephaistos Project?

Welcome to the Hephaistos Project — a living archive of alternate realities shaped by fractured timelines and plausible impossibilities. Here, history meets creativity like nowhere else.

This site exists as a personal and creative forge where history is reinterpreted, rewritten, and sometimes… reinvented. Through small alterations in key events — a war that ended differently, a scientist who lived longer, a treaty that failed — entire new worlds are born. Some of them familiar, some alien. All of them crafted with imagination grounded in realism.

At the core of this project is the FAS — Federação das Américas Socialistas — an alternate version of Brazil in the 20th century, transformed into a technological, socialist dystopia. It’s a world where brutalist megastructures tower above decaying cities, reality is reshaped to control machines and minds, and the ghosts of long-forgotten ideologies still impact the future.
